Clean,coffee& tea self serve is awesome, rooms are cozy and have everything you need and more! Margie is a wonderful host.

Excellent location. Great responsiveness, comfy bed, fluffy towels - everything you might want. One small thing that might bother someone: the private bathroom that came with this particular room was actually outside the room in the corridor (but still private for our use), which is a bit unusual. Generally can only recommend to Toronto visitors.

Spent 4 nights at Margie’s in loft studio which was great for 2 friends travelling together as we had a small sitting room below the mezzanine level with the 2 queen beds and a huge bathroom with twin basins and spacious rainhead shower. Easy walk to downtown to get about and good shopping nearby to the townhouse. Shared kitchen with other house guests. Coffee machine with pods/milk provided. Just don’t book with Booking Dot Com who unilaterally cancelled the booking 2 days out and tried to send us elsewhere but as communication with Margie was excellent I was reassured that our booking was safe and we arrived after midnight with confidence.

Simple, Convenient, Pretty and Clean. The Margie Townhouse is the perfect place for the solo/duo traveller. It's nothing special but you get exactly what you pay for and no less. The rooms are small but cosy and clean with the heating working perfectly. The veiw of the downtown housing outside is nice and really makes you feel like you are in a downtown house. The shower tiles could have used some work and I would have preferred a real door to the bathroom rather than a sliding one (it doesn't even close properly). Also if you are unlucky enough to get unsavoury or loud guests, the walls and floors are very thin so be prepared to get annoyed. The location is the main selling point for the townhouse. You are right in the middle of downtown next to Yonge Street offering a host of stores and eateries. The subway is just a few steps away aswell meaning easy access all across Toronto which was the best. I do wish there was a small sign to recognise the place as it was indistinguishable from the other places. Overall a cosy townhouse in a perfect location that isnt perfect but great for it's price.

Perfect for a short stay in Toronto. The location is great: in the middle of the city but quiet. Margie is very kind and friendly. She tries to make your stay as comfortable as possible:)

Anytime we come to Toronto, we’ll be staying here from now on. The room was great. We were in the two queen bed suite in the basement with en suite. There was natural lighting from some windows which was nice. The room was clean and cutely decorated. The bathroom and shower were great. WiFi is good. And we had a refrigerator! Everything was super comfortable and convenient! The parking at first was confusing, and we got a ticket parking on the street. We didn’t know you needed a permit. But around the corner there’s a public parking garage. It seems a bit obscured or like a private garage but it shows on Google maps. Overall, I think this is one of the best accommodations you can stay in for an affordable price.

This place was excellent. The location is awesome. Super close to College station. Pretty quite side street. We stayed in "the loft" the beds were comfy, the bathroom is huge. The whole place is really super clean and nicely decorated.

Honestly, for downtown Toronto, you aren't going to find much better. We stayed in the loft room and it was great. Room was clean, Margie was very nice and accommodating, location was perfect for the conference I was attending, and price was so much better than the big chain hotels. Don't hesitate to stay here. It is a multi unit dwelling so you may see, or hear, people renting other rooms but the bang for your buck staying here is great.
